Thirteen Muscle Groups

By February 13, 2015July 11th, 2021No Comments

There are three Fridays that fall on the 13th of the month this year, which only happens only once every 11 years or so. For more superstitious folks, that’s not great news, as Friday the 13th is often associated with bad luck and horror flicks. Today, however, Friday the 13th has a special meaning, as it is the day before Valentine’s Day. And here at Koko, we’re all about more love…less handles.

Here’s another reason why we “embrace” (pun intended) the number 13:   There are 13 major muscle groups in the human body, and your total-body workouts at Koko FitClub work every one of them.

How many of the major muscle groups can you name?

Give up?

Don’t worry. I’ve created a little cheat sheet for you below. Click on it, print it out, and refer to it as you work through your Koko Smartraining strength workouts with your FitCoach. You’ll be more engaged throughout your workout when you know more about the muscles you’re working, and it will help you to better understand the efficiency and balance of a Koko full-body workout.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be focusing on a new muscle group each week, and sharing some form tips and information to help you get to know your muscles a bit better.

Happy reading, and Happy Valentine’s Day!
